You
Substance use and abuse often coexist with anger and violence. Data shows that 40 percent of frequent substance users report engaging in some form of violent behavior. Anger and violence is often associated with the use of illicit drugs and alcohol use. Individuals who experience traumatic events often use anger, violence and abuse drugs or alcohol.
Individual Anger Management Sessions This is a Cognitive Behavioral approach that covers topics and teaches strategies designed to assist the individual to develop healthier coping skills to manage their anger effectively.
Topics include: Events and Cues, Anger Control Plans, The Aggression Cycle, Cognitive Restructuring: The A-B-C-D Model and Thought Stopping, Exploring Beliefs and Negative Self-Talk, Assertiveness Training, Effective Communication, the Conflict Resolution Model, Relaxation and Breathing Techniques, Anger and the Family. CCS is an approved Bexar County Community Supervision vendor. Cost is: $75.00

Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
Insurance
** Insurance is not billed directly at this time. A receipt for services can be provided which the client may submit for out-of-network reimbursement from their provider. Payment will be due at the time of services.
